Using the washing machine run off to water my grass, will it kill grass?
D K asked:
This may sound crazy, but my mom decided that she wants to put the washing machine in our enclosed patio and instead of hooking up a proper drain, she has decided to have the run off/drain be our newly planted grass/lawn.

So basically she wants to water the grass with our laundry water, I am all for it if it will work, but i have put many hours into our lawn and have just planted a beautiful lush and green backyard…
will this laundry run off kill my grass?
squeaky sound in washing machine?
heather s asked:
There is always long squeaky/shrill sound from my washing machine every time it operates. But when it spins, the sound stops. The sound happens only when the machine is in the process of washing (“scrubbing”) my laundry. The belt condition is great and nothing wrong with it. What happens to this machine, and where does this sound come from? How can I fix it? Thank you!

Is it possible to fit two waste pipes (diswasher and washing machine) into one waste pipe? ?
Matt R asked:
I already have a washing machine installed in my kitchen and wish to add a dishwasher. There is a spare cold tap for water going to the dishwasher, but no spare waste pipe for water coming out? Is it possible to put both the dishwasher and washing machine wast pipe into one?

If possible, would this limit me to using one or the other at a time (not that thios is a big problem).
Any other solutions?
